I don't know if he was from Miss. He was shooting in Miss.
You would like the cowboy style shooting. There are some great clubs out there.
By the way Tech won the NCAA National Shooting Championship three years running in the early 80's and have had many top ten's
I believe they had a retired Army Colonel in those best years. It's tough to win against the Army and Naval Acadamies
